WATER TAXI AND GROUND SHUTTLE SERVICE INTRODUCED

KELOWNA – Starting Saturday morning, water taxi and ground shuttle service will be available to transport people who are affected by the road closure on Highway 97, announced Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Kevin Falcon.

Judge Blocks Hybrid Taxi Requirement

A federal judge on Friday blocked New York City from requiring owners and operators of yellow taxicabs to switch to more fuel-efficient hybrid vehicles that operate on a mixture of gasoline and electricity.
